# Billing

> How prepaid credit, per-minute pricing and phone numbers are charged.

## Price

| What | Price |
| - | - |
| Calls | \$0.10 per minute, all-in, with the phone line included |
| Phone number | \$2 per month |

Calls are billed per started minute. A call of 61 seconds is billed as two minutes. The price is the same for inbound, outbound and browser calls, and for both agent modes.

## What is free

* Spam calls that Larynth flags.
* Calls that last under 10 seconds.
* \$5 of free credit for new accounts, for browser and inbound test calls.

## Prepaid credit

You add credit to your account and calls draw it down.

* Credit is prepaid and non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
* Credit does not expire.
* Free credit is spent first.
* Outbound calling needs business verification and a paid top-up. Free credit cannot be used for outbound calls.

While a call is in progress, Larynth holds an amount against your balance. When the call ends, the held amount is replaced by the real charge.

When credit runs out, campaigns pause. Turn on auto top-up to add credit when your balance falls below a threshold you choose.

## See what you were charged

| Endpoint | Returns |
| - | - |
| `GET /v1/billing/balance` | Available funds, free credit, the amount held for calls in progress, and your low-balance threshold. |
| `GET /v1/billing/ledger` | Every charge and top-up, newest first. |
| `GET /v1/billing/rates` | The rates in force. |
| `GET /v1/billing/auto-top-up` | Your auto top-up settings. |

Amounts in the API are in micro-USD: 1,000,000 equals \$1. A call's final price is `price_micro`, and the minutes billed are in `billable_ms`.

## Refunds

Prepaid credit is non-refundable, except where the law requires it. Ask [support](https://docs.larynth.com/support.md) if something looks wrong on a bill.

## Availability

Billing is in US dollars. Phone numbers are local numbers in the countries your region supports.
